Non-medical waiver support services, delivered where life happens

Family First Aide LLC provides three core home- and community-based Medicaid waiver services. Each one is authorized through the individual's waiver support plan and shaped around their own goals.

Personal Supports

Hands-on help with the everyday tasks and routines that keep life running, provided in the person's own home and out in the community.

  • Assistance with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, meals, and light housekeeping
  • Supervision and safety support based on the person's support plan
  • Building and keeping daily routines, from morning starts to evening wind-downs
  • Support for community activities: errands, appointments, recreation, volunteering, and work
  • Encouraging independence by helping only as much as needed, then stepping back

Companion Services

Friendly, consistent company that reduces isolation and opens the door to more community participation.

  • Social engagement and shared activities based on personal interests
  • Community participation such as parks, libraries, events, clubs, and faith communities
  • Emotional support through everyday conversation and dependable presence
  • Non-medical supervision and companionship at home or while out
  • Help practicing social skills and building connections that last

Supported Living Coaching

Coaching that helps adults gain and keep the skills needed to live in a home of their own with confidence.

  • Building independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Maintaining housing stability, including working with landlords and understanding lease responsibilities
  • Organizing routines, calendars, appointments, and reminders
  • Managing daily responsibilities like mail, bills, budgeting practice, and household planning
  • Problem-solving support and connection to community resources
